Pupils in Picasso class have been using Beowulf as their focus text in English. This week they finished the book and as a fitting end, wrote tributes to Beowulf, which they then read out in class during a role play session.

This week in Goldsworhty class, the children have created rockets for their poem unit – moving the rockets in motions of alliteration – zim zam zoom.

On Tuesday, our school community came together for a deeply moving Remembrance Service, which was very well attended by pupils, staff, parents, and members of the local community. It was a time to pause, reflect, and give thanks for the bravery and sacrifice of those who have served and continue to serve.

Pupils in Banksy class have been writing explanantion texts about our solar system.

This week, pupils in Picasso class have written and published Haiku poems about water and nature.

In Geography this week, pupils in Goldsworthy class have been creating research posters on the 7 continents.
