Pupils in Banksy class have had a second debate. In History, they have been learning about Sir Francis Drake. Pupils were tasked with deciding if his actions were good or perhaps those of a pirate.
This week in Science, pupils in Banksy have been learning debating skills alongside their scientific knowldge. Year 5s were tasked with sahring why the Earth could be flat, whilst the Year 6 pupils tried to prove it was round.
This week, pupils in Picasso class have continued their setting descriptions. They have spent time editing and improving their work, to have a final ‘best’ published copy. Well done!
Pupil in Goldsworthy class went on a walk around the village this week to support their topic ‘Beautiful Blewbury’. The spotted the blue plaque where Kenneth Grahame lived, author of the book Wind in The Willows, which they are reading in class.
