Reading Books

We have scanned in some of the reading books from school.  They have been put into stages to help you find the right level for your child in the files below.  

Please read each book at least 3 times.  This enables your child to focus on decoding the words on the first read, reading sentences on the second read and then they can focus on the comprehension of what they are reading and understand what the story is about.  At this point you could ask your child about the book to see what they understood.

Some of the files will need to be rotated in Adobe Acrobat.  If you go to the tool bar at the top of the page and go to 'View' then 'Rotate View', you will be able to turn the page to landscape to read the books.
