BLEWBURY SCHOOL NEEDS A NEW MINIBUS DRIVER!
Blewbury School provides a minibus service for a number of out of village pupils, who need this transport to get to the School each day. The School minibuses are also used at other times for transport to swimming lessons, residential experiences, and occasional airport journeys in connection with the School’s international partnerships.
A new part-time minibus driver is required to take on this role from Jeff Dawson, who has been doing it for several years. This would suit someone prepared to be available each day during term-time for a couple of hours driving - 7.40am-8.40am and 3.10-4.10pm.
There is a requirement to pass a simple OCC minibus driving test and the person would need to have a DBS safeguarding check. The School can arrange both of these. The work is paid at the rate of £11.41 per hour. Anyone who passed a normal driving test before 1997 will automatically have a D1 driving license allowing them to drive a minibus.
Anyone who might be interested in taking on this role can contact Roger Murphy (School Governor – firstname.lastname@example.org), Becky Costello (Headteacher – email@example.com), or Jeff Dawson (firstname.lastname@example.org) for further information.
